MANCHESTER, NH — The U.S News & World Report ranks The Queen City the 6th safest city in America and the 24th best city to retire to. The latter honor is doubly impressive as New England is not considered a prime retirement area.

Overall, Manchester ranks #67 as the best place to live in America, according to USN&WR.

Earlier this month, Manchester was named the 11th safest city by WalletHub. Also in October, Manchester was ranked #13 in the Wall Street Journal/Realtor.com’s Housing Index based on quality of life and real estate values.
