MANCHESTER, NH — The late and some say great rock ’n’ roller GG Allin was remembered on The Morning Show with Peter White, and the memories were not flattering. Legend has it that the rocker christened Jesus Christ Allin by his brutally sadistic father upon his August 29, 1956 birth was known as “GG” as his brother could not pronounce the name Jesus.

The GG Allin discussion starts at 1:30 when Matty Juneau brings up the “All in the Family”documentary

The title of one article, “The Rise And Fall Of Poop-Eating, Self-Mutilating GG Allin — Rock’s Ultimate Wild Man,” just about says it all. Many of GG’s early gigs were in the Queen City, where he was known as “The Madman of Manchester”.

Peter White’s guest Matthew Juneau, at 1:30 into the Monday, June 6th broadcast, mentions that he had watched the 2017 GG Allin: All in the Family documentary over the weekend.

According to GG’s Wikipedia bio,

Allin was best known for his controversial live performances, which often featured trangressive acts, including self-mutilation, defecating on stage, and assaulting audience members, for which he was arrested and imprisoned on multiple occasions. AllMusic called him “the most spectacular degenerate in rock n’ roll history….”

Wiki also reports that,

Allin promised for several years that he would commit suicide on stage during one of his concerts, but he instead died from anaccidental drug overdose on June 28, 1993, at age 36.
