Political Mercenary Jay Ruais Files for Mayor
Manufactured Candidate Exploited Memory of Harmony Montgomery — OPINION
MANCHESTER, NH — Jay Ruais, one of the politicians whose attempt to float a false narrative about the Harmony Montgomery investigation for political ends was denounced as “disgusting” by Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg, officially filed for mayor on Monday, June 10th.
Ruais participated in the attempted political hit job on Mayor Joyce Craig put forth in the New Hampshire Journal. The newly minted Manchester candidate criticized Mayor Craig in the Journal for not responding to an email from Crystal Sorey, Harmony Montgomery’s mother.
“The mayor’s office needs to be accountable, transparent. and swift in its actions when working with the public. The failure to release these records contributes to the already growing distrust of our elected officials in Manchester.”
In fact, the Mayor’s Office did forward the request from assistance from Sorey to the Manchester Police Department within two hours of its receipt, which resulted in the MPD ramping up the Harmony Montgomery investigation.
The false narrative peddled by Ruais & Co. was based on falsehoods that contradicted the public record, which enraged Chief Aldengerg.
Reportedly recruited by former U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte to put a Republican ass in the Manchester mayor’s seat in order to bolster her own gubernatorial ambitions, Jay Ruais showed himself to be a true mercenary when he took part in exploiting the memory of a dead child with demonstrable falsehoods.
