MANCHESTER, NH — In newly elected Ward 6 Alderwoman Crissy Kantor’s filings, it is revealed that The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, a non-profit membership organization that arranges cremation services, donated $500.00 to her campaign. That is a matter of public record.

I sent some questions to the Cremation Society before the election:

Does the Cremation Society of New Hampshire have a political action committee?

Why did the Cremation Society of New Hampshire choose to donate to Ms. Kantor?

Did the Board of Directors of CSNH vote on the contribution?

Has the CSNH supported other candidates, financially, in the past?

What are the criterion of the CSNH when it comes to making political contributions? Is there a political agenda the CSNH has that is more in line with Ms. Kantor’s beliefs than say, her opponent?

I never received a reply.
